Kadetra Cooper introduced the Women of 4D to the Rotary Club of Newport News. Women of 4D is a 501c3 public charity that was founded in 2020. Their goal is to redefine the narrative and generalizations around single mothers and provide resources to support single working mothers.
During Kadetra’s talk, we learned that WOMEN OF 4D serves as a resource and advocacy platform for single working mothers. They assist single working mothers with education expenses and facilitate specialized workshops for personal and professional growth. Their purpose is to redefine the narrative and generalizations around being a single mother and provide resources to support the unique needs of single working mothers. Their mission is to assist single working mothers with education resources, life skills, and principles to improve economic opportunities. Finally, their vision is to build a community of women through a supportive, nurturing, and empowering platform of hope and resiliency.

Kadetra Cooper is the Founder & Executive Director of Women of 4D. She is a Warrior of Personal Growth and Development and understands self-awareness is essential to elevate and transform into the person we are called to be. She believes even if someone is unprepared for a life encounter, everyone must be consciously equipped to handle whatever comes their way. Kadetra experienced a major identity shift upon becoming a mother at 20 years old, which intensified as she combatted the stigma of being an unmarried mother.

Kadetra holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing & Merchandising, a Master of Business Administration, with an emphasis in Management, and a credential as a Certified Nonprofit Professional (CNP). No matter how many titles she holds, the most rewarding is that of Mommy to her two children.

Thank you for sharing your story and the importance of Women of 4D with our club!
