On Tuesday, February 21, 2017, the Rotary Club of Newport News hosted the 2017 Newport News Science Fair Rotary Winners. Each of the five middle school students was accompanied by a parent and presented a brief synopsis of his/her science project. Topics included Attitudes on the Flu Vaccine, Do Climate Conditions Effect IOT Device Results, Impact of Distracted Driving, Does Sight Affect One’s Tastebuds, and Don’t Overshoot The Moon. NN Rotarian Ron Bieszczad was the MC for the event.
