On Tuesday, August 16, 2016, club member Alicia Spencer hosted her son, A. Benjamin “Ben” Spencer, the Earle K. Shawe Professor of Law, at the University of Virginia School of Law.
Professor Spencer is a graduate of Harvard Law School and has an impressive resume of accomplishments. Ben primarily talked about his decision, at age 41, to attend the US Army’s JAG (Judge Advocate General) program to become a JAG lawyer in the Army Reserve.
