On Tuesday, February 9th, the Rotary Club of Newport News hosted Jamie Brunkow of the James River Association. Jamie’s specific focus is on the Lower James River. As a Riverkeeper, Jamie’s goal is to maintain a constant vigil on the James River, monitoring its conditions, identifying problems and ensuring that solutions are executed properly.
Jamie as shared information such as the current state of the river’s health, the progress they’ve achieved, how individuals can get involved and their roadmap into the future.
